Heather is a registered E-RYT 200 and YACEP teacher with Yoga Alliance and has been sharing her love of yoga since 2008 when she completed her first Krama Vinyasa RYT 200 training. She graduated with honors from her Skanda Yoga RYT 200 in 2009 and incorporates the alignment principles of Skanda Yoga into all of her classes. She is also a registered Yin Yoga teacher, having trained with Bernie Clark. She encourages her students to take a functional approach to their practice by using their intention to feel each pose from the inside out, to modify or change the pose if is doesn’t feel good, and to let go of the desire to look good in the pose.
We don’t use the body to get into the pose – we use the pose to get into the body.
Modifications for every level of student will be given.
