Balance your Yin/Yang energy with this combined class that will release tensions from the muscles, ligaments, and joints ready for a flowing sequence of breath inspires poses that will leave you feeling relaxed, open, and balanced.
Yin Yoga is a deep, slow paced practice. Poses are held for longer to stimulate and tone the joints and deep connective tissues by increasing the supply of fluids to them. Yin Yoga also helps us to channel our prana (life force) to remove energy blocks along meridian lines.
We follow our Yin practice with a 15 minute flowing breath-inspired Vinyasa sequence to create flexibility and strength in our muscles. If you do not wish to participate in the Vinyasa sequence, the teacher will offer you a restorative alternative.
